Tales from the Watershed

Our annual Tales from the Watershed event was a success! We heard from a group of amazing storytellers on their connection to Lake Champlain, while enjoying a beautiful evening on the Bay. Music was provided by Heavy Nettles and Mill River Brewing catered the event. If you weren't able to make it this year, be sure to mark it on your calendars for next year!

Rain Barrel Build

We hosted another rain barrel build with Friends of Northern Lake Champlain! We helped 24 participants get set up with their own rain barrels to reduce runoff on their properties and had a great time at Mill River Brewing. 2026 Webinars

We enjoyed a couple of stormwater webinars this spring! We started off with a great talk from Adam McCullough from the Vermont Urban and Community Forestry Program on Tree Health and its impact on stormwater reduction, then heard from Dorothy Kinney-Landis with the Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District about how you can install a rain garden on your property. Rachael Miller of the Rozalia Project wrapped up the series with a presentation on Microplastics!
