Stream Cleanups

Stream Cleanups.png

We are so excited that summer is finally coming around so we can get out there and clean up our waterways! Our first stream cleanup will be on June 6th from 9-12 at Highgate Crossing in St. Albans. Meet us at the Hannaford parking lot for a morning of community service!

Cleaning up our local streams means that trash and debris does not make it farther into the watershed and break down, keeping our lakes and rivers healthy for us and the ecosystem. These are great events to start getting involved and make a difference.

Click on the flyer or the link below to register! We hope to see you there!

Tales from the Watershed 2026

Join us for an evening on Lake Champlain with stories from your community members, music from Heavy Nettles, and food and drinks for purchase from Mill River Brewing! This is a free event for all.

If you are interested in sharing your story, reach out to Gracie at ggrimes@friendsofnorthernlakechamplain.org!
